Fig Street Studio Chapel, a room in Fig Street Art Studio, can be set up
to hold about 10 guests. For a small set up and cleaning fee based on
space needed and number of people the room can hold up to 10. The room is centered on a small
table and old stain glass window in
the front window of Fig Street Art Studio, home of New Orleans Artist JK Schwehm. The exterior tree shaded front lawn can be used as a backdrop for lovely
outdoor photographs. The Studio is just a short drive to a beach, swamp or City Park for
more photographs. Located in a Country setting. Wedding Music can be provided by a CD player. Use of the Studio for a short
simple ceremony is free with no set up of the chapel room. Normal
officiant fee of $100.00 applies for a short civil ceremony. An additional fee
of $75.00 must be made to use the Chapel Room when it has to be set up
for a ceremony that requires moving of furniture to make room for
guests. The deposit can be made over the web via Pay Pal. Couples must

Honey Island Swamp and Slidell Park both locations can be used for a larger
weddings with a ceremony fee of $100.00 during weekdays.
Dr. Schwehm is willing to go to your location and conduct
a Theme Wedding if you like. He has done, Jazz Weddings, Mardi Gras
Weddings, Pirates Weddings and others just ask.
