Short Term Rental Policy
Accommodations
at Fig Street House are smoke-free. Fig House has a
'floating' TV for room
use, and smoking is allowed on the porch. Internet access is available so
guests can check their e-mail and do some limited web browsing in a comfortable
chair in the owners computer center. DSL
Connections available for those with Lap Tops, just ask at registration.
Fig
House embraces diversity but, this old house is unfortunately not disability
friendly. There are stairs and steps.
A deposit is expected to hold your room, in the event
of a cancellation, no refund will be issued unless room is resold.
Payment for the full stay in advance of check in is required.
Cash
and checks are accepted, an ATM machine is available at Bank One 2 blocks away.
Full payment is due at check-in. Pay Pal can be used for payment of the deposit
over the web or for full payment.
Rooms
are serviced every third day, unless otherwise requested. Additional linens, and
supplies are available daily upon request. Complete maid service is extra
charge.
Check-in is afternoon unless prearranged. This allows time to prepare the
rooms after check outs which is by 11:00 am. Unless otherwise
arranged.
Pets:
Puppies, cats, and wild birds are on the grounds. This is a pet
friendly house. Well behaved pets and dogs who do not bark at night and house
friendly cats are welcome by reservation
only.
If you are traveling with a dog or other pet, Fig House has a large (5'x
10'x 3' high), open clean outdoor fenced area which is available per night
additional charge. (Please bring a doggy shelter or carrier.)
Visitors' pets are not permitted in the house, however, unless prearranged. A
pet deposit is required for any damages.
Cats
need their own pet carrier to sleep in and should not roam around.
The owner is on premises so any questions concerning this or other policy can be
asked. We expect courtesy to all guests from visitors at Fig Street House.
Only
registered guests are allowed on premises.
No unapproved visitors or parties.
No
smoking, loud noises, parties, drunkenness, rowdy behavior, or rudeness to
others allowed. All guests must be and act as adults. Failure to follow rules
and policy will give cause for immediate eviction.
Fig House is intended to be like a study dorm not a party house.
ROOM RATES:
Room rates start at $175.00
per room per week. Additional person $15.00. Special rates apply at
special events.
