    Fig Street Guest House, a short term  rental, built, circa 1925 is located in the Old Carrollton area of America's most interesting city, New Orleans. Fully furnished in 1930's period furniture, it captures the Old New Orleans charm. Much like the   'Rooming Houses'  of years past, the  upstairs bed rooms offer privacy yet in a comfortable family atmosphere. The remodeled full kitchen allows guests the ability to  prepare their meals.  Rates are seasonal based upon $175.00 per room per week. Check with the manager for the exact rates for your particular stay as they change based upon time of year and number of guests. Limited maid service is available.

Many attractions and restaurants are near by. The Whole Foods Store and specialty  food markets are a short drive away. Restaurants are in abundance along Carrollton Avenue, with the Ye Old College Inn two  blocks away. The St. Charles Street Car Line is walking distance and brings guests to the French Quarter, Downtown, and The Ware House District, with all the shopping and food anyone would desire. The Maple Street, Oak Street, and Magazine Street shops are close by. With live music nightly from Rock N Bowl, to The Carrollton Station, and other near by music halls.  Whether it be  a short course at a local University or a short term business transfer, come stay at the Fig Street Guest House while you search for a more permanent apartment. Located near Notre Dame Seminary and Universities. Just a short Street Car ride to Audubon Zoo, Commander's Palace, and all the excitement of the French Quarter.
