Spanish Plaza New Orleans River Front
Located on the River Front by
The River Walk and Harrah's Casino, Spanish Plaza was a gift of Spain
to New Orleans. Several River Boats dock along the river in this spot.
This is an excellent spot to meet for a small simple elopement before a cruise as it is near the cruise terminal. On a budget this is the best way to be married then board the ship for your honeymoon cruise.
Made of Spanish tile with a large water fountain in the center it
celebrates Spain's history with the New World and New Orleans. Small
wedding ceremonies of no more that a few people can be performed in
the Plaza with the fountain and river boats as backdrops. Convenient
to the Harrah's Casino Hotel that has several great restaurants on Fulton St. for lunch or dinner
right after the ceremony. Right on Canal St. at the River Walk Mall near most hotels and at
the Streetcar stop.
